SUN VALLEY

We love Legacy homes! Our Client asked us to renovate the home she grew up in. What started out as a simple renovation took on a life of its own. We discovered an abandoned inactive oil pipe running the length of their back yard, which prohibited changing the orientation of the footprint. Collectively, the Client and SHI, decided to build new. As we navigated our Clients through the pros and cons, we were able to determine just how to balance the feel of a new space with the warmth of nostalgia they desired to achieve.

The home’s essence is designed around the original dining room chandelier purchased by the family’s matriarch many years before. The design is an eclectic mix of traditional and modern glam which is saturated in texture and injections of bold color and ideas. We delivered a fresh timeless design that is both rich and comfortable and steeped in legacy.
