MAIN STAGE
PROJECT: SMALL THEATRE
PHOTOGRAPHER: IMAGO DEI
This 145-seat theatre is right-sized for the community. This Main Stage is a little jewel of high design just outside of Houston. The comfortable theatre seating is nestled in a nicely lit intimate setting that showcases the clear acoustics and amazing talents that command the stage.
The required theatre orientation left over a 5-foot-wide, 30-foot-long corridor. We knew that corridor deserved to be amazing. We worked with Imago Dei to develop a 30-foot removable wall mural that can be repurposed later. The mask inspiration, derived from our Client’s love of Cirque de Soleil, morphed into a graffiti-styled abstract of colors, lines, and shapes. The color of the eyes in the mask are the actual color and speckle of our Client’s eyes.
The small theatre features community actors and actresses, big productions and a great big design and the patrons love the experience.
